North Star Strategy Ltd

About the firm

A strategy consultancy passionate about helping organisations achieve their goals.

Our purpose is simple: to help organisations achieve what matters most. We work with leadership teams to turn strategic direction into measurable progress.

Our story

Named for the star that keeps you on course.

For centuries, navigators fixed on the North Star to hold a steady heading through changing seas. It's the idea at the heart of our name and our work: a clear, fixed point of reference that keeps an organisation moving in the right direction, whatever the conditions.

We founded North Star after years spent watching capable organisations set strong strategies — and struggle to deliver them. Not for want of talent or intent, but for want of a disciplined, human way to translate ambition into everyday action.

The answer, we believe, is neither more strategy nor another layer of process. It is a clearer connection between leadership ambition, organisational insight and the work people do every day. That is the connection North Star Strategy exists to build.

“Strategy charts the course. Execution makes the journey possible.”

What guides us

Our core principles.

Clarity over complexity

We cut through noise to the few things that matter. Simplicity is harder to achieve — and far more useful.

Built for delivery

Strategy must translate into decisions, priorities and action — not end as a presentation.

Success must be measurable

Every strategic ambition should connect to clear outcomes that allow progress to be assessed honestly.

People make strategy happen

Successful execution depends on trust, communication, capability and commitment — not process alone.

Let's talk
